History
CrossLife Community Church has been serving the Elkridge and the surrounding communities for 9 years. We have reached out with acts of kindness through mission efforts in the US and in the Dominican Republic, also by providing family events for the community such as Track & Field Camp, Get Fit our exercise ministry, and Summer’s End Jam/5K which raises money for the Elkridge Food Pantry. All of these activities are done with the intention of living out Christ–like love and building relationships with people who want to get closer to God. We have done this effectively on a small scale with the help of others in this community who give us or rent to us space for these events. Now is the time for CrossLife to invest even more in the community and build the CrossLife Ministry Center. The Steps of Faith Campaign is how we will achieve God’s call to us to provide a ministry center in our community that exists to see people release their heart to Him.
The Steps of Faith
Raise the money needed to either lease space and build-out; or to buy and build-out.
Seek your personal passion for serving God and start fulfilling it.
Trust God to lead us to locate and attain a building/property.
Build out property, move in, and set up ministries.
Trust as the Lord to lead and continue to provide new and creative ministries to the community that point people to Jesus and help them release their hearts to God.
The Campaign
Step one of our Steps of Faith Campaign is to raise the money needed for the CrossLife Ministry Center. The campaign has a goal to have a total of $165,000 at the end of one year. We are well on our way, starting with over $87,000. This campaign is about much more than just raising money. The Steps of Faith Campaign is about each person’s spiritual walk; it is about living our faith; it is about loving the people around us; it is about focusing our vision and coming together; and it is about the power of commitment.
What’s My Part In The Campaign?
For each individual this campaign must start and end in prayer.
One of these prayers will be about how much you can give above and beyond your normal giving, and if willing, sharing that on a commitment card.
Plan on attending the 9th Anniversary Celebration/Steps Of Faith Banquet on November 3rd. At the banquet is where you can privately give your commitment cards, enjoy celebrating 9 years of ministry, and dream about the future of your church.
What Will The CrossLife Ministry Center Be?
The CrossLife Ministry Center will be a place where we will see God’s hand of love reaching out with the gospel. A place where we can build relationships and serve our community. Where God will use the creativity and uniqueness of the people at CrossLife to start exciting and effective ministries. The building will be used for worship, sport ministries, camps, afterschool programs, conferences, church plants, and whatever God puts on our hearts.
