Schedule: · Prayer Vigil o Starts January 22, Noon, and ends Saturday, January 28, 11:59 p.m. o The prayer time is from noon each day until midnight. o It is fine to have more than one person praying during a specific hour. o The sign-up sheet will be on our website so that you can check for specific times. To sign-up please email me or sign-up this Sunday at church
· Thursday Evening Prayer Meetings o January 26th from 7:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. @ Grace Episcopal Church. o February 2nd from 7:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. @ Grace Episcopal Church.
· Fasting Week o Starts January 22nd and goes to January 29th, when we will break our fast together with a fellowship luncheon at Grace Episcopal Church Parish Hall immediately after church. o Remember you set up the specifics for your fast; what it is, when it is, and how long you do it. We simply ask that you start it the week of January 22nd. o Remember the Preparing for My Fast sheet is there to help you. Find them at church and at our website under the Prayer & Fasting tab.
· General Instructions: o If you have kids, take time to let your children know what you are doing. Invite those old enough to be part of this spiritual journey.
Our Overall Aim:
· To satisfy the ache deep in your soul to know more and more of all that God has for you in Jesus, and to ultimately, bring glory to our God.
Church Wide-Suggested Goals & Prayer: - To see more people come into a saving relationship with Christ! - To be better equipped to minister to the poor and needy around us and around the globe. - To breakdown spiritual strongholds that are binding us and others. - That we might be faithful to take the “step of faith” you are calling us to - whether a building or something else. - To see and remove sin from our lives! - For Children’s Ministry Leaders for our kids. - For a strong Young Adult Ministry where people will build relationships with each other and God. - For the long-term Administrative Assistant that would help our church be more effective for the kingdom of God. - For an Assimilation Coordinator that would help new people get in touch with their spiritual giftedness. - Strong leadership and vision for our Men’s and Women’s Adult ministries. - For strong Life Group leaders and hosts and new people willing to try Life Groups. - That in all things we rely on God for everything. - Continued guidance and help with our “Get Fit Ministry” to be more effective in relationship building and opportunities to share the Gospel. - For God to strengthen and give wisdom to our church leadership. - We pray for a quiet spirit that we might hear a Word from you Lord.
